Higher level teaching assistant
We are looking for an SEND HLTA to join our team!
Salary: £130-175 per day
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-4pm
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)? Do you want to make a positive impact on young learners' lives? Do you have experience supporting children with different SEND needs? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic High Level Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support in Leatherhead.
The Role:As an HLTA, you will work closely with students with a variety of needs, including but not limited to autism, learning disabilities, and social-emotional challenges. Your role will involve supporting individual students or small groups, helping to implement strategies that aid their learning and development, and working alongside teachers to ensure a positive learning experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with SEND
Assist in the development and delivery of tailored learning plans
Support the emotional and social development of students
Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Encourage independence and self-confidence in students
